Bonsai Design training methodologies ensure your programs are operated in the safest, most efficient, and profitable manner possible. Our trainers consistently produce competent, confident, and client pleasing personnel. Intensive, thorough curriculums are backed by professional manuals, supporting documents, and instructional videos. Firmly rooted in the Aerial Adventure industry, Bonsai has recently moved into delivering training for other rescue and work at-height industries to further broaden our scope and reach. All of our trainings fulfill ACCT, ASTM, and OSHA requirements. Training with Bonsai occurs in three main areas of expertise:
Practitioner Training and Certification
BDI is accredited as a Professional Vendor Member of the Association for Challenge Course Technology, which has approved and reviewed the company as a provider of practitioner training and certification (http://www.acctinfo.org/?page=87). Across the nation, we provide initial staff training, along with ongoing refresher training for a wide variety of systems. Training can be accompanied by our third party certification to ensure staff competencies. Allow four to six days for initial staff training with a ratio of ten to twelve staff per Bonsai trainer. Our trainings are fun, challenging, and most of all, empowering. Please note that prerequisites within the ACCT track trainings are primarily geared towards trainees seeking certification and, as such, some exceptions can be made if this is not the case. Industry Professional Development
Bonsai Design has modules specifically developed to serve our client needs and fill underserved markets. A detailed course inspection and maintenance track gives operators autonomy in their periodic inspection/maintenance regime. Our Training Cooperative allows the use of our training methods and materials, while providing continued organizational training support.
Bonsai was designated as one of the two pioneering Petzl Technical Partners (http://petzlsolutions.com/our-network) in the country. The Petzl Technical Institute has vetted and approved BDI as a training organization fit to deliver their training courses. Our experience with a variety of work zones and access techniques allows us to train recreational and work-at-height industry professionals. Additionally, Bonsai’s consultation with world-class organizations brings our comprehensive understanding of management systems and relevant legislation to the classroom.
It is Bonsai Design’s goal to serve the greatest number of courses, industries, and professionals by offering regional and on-site trainings. Have us train your staff exclusively through one of our on-site trainings and reduced pricing per trainee. We also offer open enrollment, regional trainings at your site or one of our host sites.
