Objectives:
- Cover theoretical facilitation concepts for improved programming on course
- Cover theoretical and practical aspects of advanced rescues in environments with limited support
- Demonstrate options and scenarios for technical rescue problem solving
- Provide practical instruction to support scenario based technical rescue practice
- Create advanced competencies that will complement a leadership position on course
Audience:
- Aerial Adventure Course staff and management
- Aerial Adventure Course installers
- Aerial Adventure trainers
- Outdoor recreation professionals and students
Prerequisites:
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Meets Participant Requirements for the site course
- Able to perform most challenging potential physical task in advanced technical rescues
- Able to perform the ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF A CHALLENGE COURSE PRACTITIONER outlined in Appendix F of the 8th Edition of the ACCT Standards
- Has a Practitioner Level I Certification from an ACCT Professional Vendor Member
- Provides a portfolio documenting two hundred hours (200) of experience working on a course
- Prior training and experience is deemed sufficiently relevant upon BDI review
