Practitioner Skills (ACCT Practitioner Level I)
Create base technical and facilitation staff competencies for operation of an Aerial Adventure course. Includes core, programming, technical, and emergency procedure skills for guide/facilitator staff. Option of stand-alone training or combination of training and certification.
NOTE: Course length dependent on Aerial Adventure product type. Cost reflects typical on-site per trainee costs. Contact Bonsai for an on-site training quote.
Training Hours: 30 – 45
Testing Hours: 10 – 15
Timeframe: 4 – 6 Days
Certification: Valid 1 year
Objectives:
- Cover technical, facilitation, and emergency procedures content necessary for effective operation of the activity/course
- Provide theoretical and practical instruction to support scenario based facilitation and technical rescue practice
- Create base competencies, that will be augmented by site specific Local Operating Procedures, in order to operate the activity/course
Audience:
- Aerial Adventure Course staff and management
- Aerial Adventure Course installers
- Aerial Adventure retailers
- Outdoor recreation professionals and students
Prerequisites:
- Meets Participant Requirements for the course
- Able to perform most challenging potential physical task on course
- Able to perform the ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF A CHALLENGE COURSE PRACTITIONER outlined in Appendix F of the 8th Edition of the ACCT Standards
