Project Goal

Bonsai designed and installed a massive Big Zip Tour to provide guests of Ober Mountain, situated high above the town of Gatlinburg, TN, a world-class zip experience intended to maximize the incredible views from atop the mountain. In addition to the zip tour, Bonsai worked with the owner group to design a large observation deck, capable of hosting a variety of events, around the initial zip launch platform.

Program Description

The tour consists of three zip spans, each with four parallel zip lines. Designed with impressive steel structural supports, the tour enables guests to experience views of the Great Smoky Mountains like no other. The tour, along with the observation deck, begins at the peak of the mountain and finishes alongside the main base mountain lodge.
