Project Goal

In partnership with the City of Grand Junction, Bonsai Design designed and installed the Grand Valley’s first and only zip line experience. With an iconic landing tower, the zip system is a key piece of Bonsai’s new headquarters building in the robust Las Colonias Riverfront Park District.

Program Description

Guests check-in and receive an orientation in Bonsai’s headquarters building and then travel to the launch platform on the other side of the Colorado River. The zip line, a dual-racing, side-by-side experience, allows guests to race their friends and family members over the river as they enjoy majestic views of the surrounding Grand Valley environment. From the landing deck, guests experience a controlled decent activity to reach the ground.
