Grant joins the team with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and 4 years of experience working in the outdoor industry for the consumer goods and guide service sectors. He has a passion for finding creative solutions to problems while working with his hands whether he’s at Bonsai or doing humanitarian relief work with Engineers Without Borders.
His background includes working as a Mechanical Engineer at Therm-a-Rest, MSR, and Platypus, guiding rock climbing and rafting trips in Moab, UT, and managing a college outdoor program and Climbing Gym.
When he’s off the clock, he can be found thriving in nature climbing on rock, ice, and snow, mountain biking, backcountry skiing, rafting, and riding his bike to work. He also enjoys 3D printing custom parts for everyday problems, tinkering with his homemade CNC machine, and helping out in his community whenever possible!
